Giada has released a Broadwell-based media player for use with all OPS-compliant electronic whiteboards and digital displays.

The P211 Mini-PC features 4K graphics and self-managing features such as powering up automatically following a power failure or scheduled system reboots. Intended as a cost-efficient and eco-friendly option, the player has low energy consumption with a maximum heat generation rate of 15W. The P211 also uses a single 80-pin JAE interface to send HDMI, audio, USB 3.0, and serial connections.

"Intel has revolutionised the digital signage industry with standardised, pluggable interfaces making it easier than ever to install and maintain digital signage and interactive displays," suggests Jessica Hsu, US sales director at Giada. "With the P211, Giada Technology provides a high-performance signage computer that takes full advantage of OPS for simplified deployment while reducing maintenance and operational costs."
