Eyevis has fabricated a convex videowall for the new Bell Helicopter headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.

Eyevis's OmniShapes product was chosen for the project as arranged into a curved videowall with a maximum angle of twelve degrees, meaning that it could fit snug to the architectural feature wall. The modules each feature front access for set-up and service, so alterations can be made without moving the display itself.

The display was made up of 48 4K OmniShapes modules, each measuring 8.4sq m. The videowall is located in the lobby of the building and is to be primarily used to display marketing information to visitors. Local signal inputs allow personalised content to be played, while it is also connected to a NetPix graphic controller from Eyevis, which adds Blu-ray playing capability as well as a TV tuner and content manager.

"We are very proud to be involved in such a magnificent project by a world-leading brand as Bell Helicopter," explains Rainer Link, director of international sales at Eyevis. "With our unique OmniShapes solution we were able to fulfil the demanding requirements of the project.

"The new videowall will surely bring its company message across to visitors and employees passing the [display] in their splendid new headquarters."
