Serilon has signed an agreement to become a vendor for Esko's product portfolio, encompassing its finishing and wide-format workflow software.

The Brazilian sign and display reseller will add the manufacturer's line to its existing range of cutting equipment from Graphtec and Steeltrak and its wide-format printer line-up, featuring machines from Agfa, Mimaki and DGI. With 32 hubs across the country, supported by multiple administrative and distribution centres, Esko is confident that its latest partner has the coverage that it requires to meet its ambitions for this market.

"Serilon is the largest sign and display supplier in Brazil, covering basically all of the country [and does] an exceptional job focusing on high-end solutions to the sign and display market," believes Ernande Ramos, vice-president for Latin America at Esko. "This is important for Esko, because it allows us to leverage our coverage and better assist customers who need digital finishing, POP design and wide-format workflow solutions."

"This is a great addition to our product portfolio; our customers are increasingly demanding, so we must always be aware of the best technologies in the market," states Flávio Mazaro, corporate director of the Serilon Group." Kongsberg cutting machines are highly customisable with tools and heads to perfectly meet the visual communication markets, signage, displays and exhibitors, production samples of packaging and several other applications."
