Proskills launches apprenticeship-focused Twitter forum

Proskills is preparing to host its first #PrintSkillsChat Twitter chat on apprenticeships on Monday August 10th. The educational charity intends to bring both seasoned professionals and young people together to discuss the skills required in the print industry and what the industry needs to do to address this. The inaugural chat will focus on the following theme: 'What are apprenticeships, do enough employers offer them and what opportunities are there for young people in print?'

Tripleplay system implemented at Manchester City stadium

Manchester City football club has installed a digital signage and IPTV management distribution system from Tripleplay across its stadium and other City Group locations in the UK, USA and Australia. The Tripleplay CMS enables the user to showcase content tailored to different environments across its sites, including reception areas, executive boxes and in the stadium concourse.

TransitScreen unveils multi-lingual screen capability

Bilingual screens

TransitScreen has officially launched its range of multi-lingual screens, having already installed a display at the Creston Avenue Residence in the Bronx featuring both English and Spanish content. The company plans to install another screen at Harvard University in the CS50 classroom, reaching 500,000 students across the course. The displays are also able to air Mandarin and French content, with support for further languages in development.
